- Students who achieve a score of 40/100 with at least 8 correct answers qualify for the Antalya stage.
- A certificate of participation is awarded; a certificate of achievement is presented to those who meet the success criteria.
-
2nd Stage · International Semi-Final
Eurasia Mathematics Olympiad
- Students who reach a score of at least 40 in the regional selection compete with students from different countries in Antalya.
- An evaluation method considering standard deviation is applied.
- Successful students are announced at the award ceremony; certificates of participation, certificates of achievement, and medals are presented.
- Successful students earn the right to participate in the Barcelona World Championship.
-
3rd Stage · Grand Final
World Mathematics Championship
- Only students who are successful in Antalya can participate in the World Championship.
- Standard deviation-based evaluation is conducted; successful students are awarded.
- Certificates of participation, certificates of achievement, and medals are presented.
- Eligible finalists are considered for educational and exchange opportunities.
Vision of the Olympiad
Atlântia International Mathematics Olympiad is an international mathematics platform that supports students not only in reaching the correct answer, but also in asking the right questions, thinking analytically, and developing diverse problem-solving approaches.
Think deeper. Solve smarter. Go further.
- Problem solving: Approaching complex problems with systematic and creative methods.
- Logical thinking: Analyzing data, discovering connections, and drawing conclusions.
- Mathematical creativity: Developing novel solution ideas beyond conventional methods.
- Precision: Developing accuracy, attentiveness, and an analytical approach.
- Excellence: Demonstrating mathematical potential on an international platform.
Examination system
The first-stage exam consists of 20 questions. Students who answer at least 8 questions correctly and achieve a score of 40 out of 100 qualify for the second stage in Antalya.
In the Antalya Eurasia Olympiad and the Barcelona World Championship, results are evaluated using standard deviation-based calculations; qualification and award conditions are specified in the official regulations.
Five core areas of mathematics
- Algebra: Patterns, equations, and mathematical relationships
- Geometry: Shapes, spatial thinking, and visual reasoning
- Number theory: Numbers, properties, and mathematical structures
- Combinatorics: Counting, arrangements, and strategic thinking
- Logic and problem solving: Reasoning, deduction, and creative solutions
